Lou Marlin: Often when someone leaves their job they find that they're not being paid the vacation or personal time they earned. When a person leaves their employment whether they're fired or whether they quit they have to be paid all of their earned vacation time, all of their personal time.

Sometimes cases for unpaid vacation/personal time just start with one person who wonders why their final paycheck didn't quite include all the money and all the vacation time they thought they've earned. Those questions, if presented to the lawyers at our office can often lead to large cases where the rights of many former employees are taken care of in a class action. It's our hope that at the end of the case our clients feel that not only have they taken care of their own rights but they have helped many other people. The clients who bring these cases do good for many others and they should be proud and they should be satisfied and that's our goal.
