Southern California Gas Company Case
In late 2010, Marlin & Saltzman LLP filed a lawsuit against Southern California Gas Company asserting that the company failed to provide employees with meal and rest breaks as mandated by law and failed to properly compensate employees for all the time that they work, including time for working "off the clock" and time spent donning and doffing protective gear.
We are continuing to investigate the claims and allegations made in the lawsuit. To that end, we are very interested to speak with Gas Company employees to understand whether they have experienced the same policies and practices as our clients and other employees of the Gas Company. We are also available to answer questions regarding the lawsuit and in regards to the recent settlement "offer" that the Gas Company made to certain employees.
