A partner with the firm in our Agoura Hills office, Alan has over 25 years’ experience in litigation including numerous complex matters . He has been a strong believer in protecting the rights of consumers and employees, as well as those of individuals  who have suffered damages in catastrophic events. Alan is actively involved in representing plaintiffs in class actions against large corporations who have failed to follow the law with respect to protecting  workers and ensuring that they are fairly compensated.

In the area of employment law class action, Alan has  represented workers in their capacity as insurance claims representatives, retail associates, and outside sales. He has and continues to protect workers in both state and federal courts  against business entities that do not follow the law with respect to wage issues including the enforcement of workers’ rights to overtime, meal and rest breaks, unpaid expenses , commissions , vacations, and other damages and penalties available under the law. Alan also has great interest in consumer class actions in matters concerning recovery of consumer rights to damages from exposure to dangerous products .

Alan has vast experience in personal injury and wrongful death cases representing individuals  and their families who have suffered catastrophic  damages.  He was recently a key member of the trial team in an action against the City of Los Angeles  and the Los Angeles Police Dept. in a case that involved severe and life altering injuries to innocent victims as a result of an auto accident with a patrol car responding to a non-emergency  call. After a lengthy trial that resulted in  a verdict for the defendant, Alan continued to peruse his clients rights in an successful appeal of that verdict  which reversed the prior verdict, and eventually resulted in a substantial settlement for the victims. A  result he is extremely proud of.

Alan believes in the importance of helping people  who have  been subject to the wrongs of corporations and individuals. He never gives up on a case and has and is willing to do whatever it takes within the bounds of the law to seek justice . Of most concern to him is that the truth be heard for all clients and no matter if it is a fight against one person or the most powerful corporations in this country, it is a fight until the end.

In addition to being a busy lawyer, Alan loves football and  hockey as well as music . He  sometimes wonders if he would be as happy being a lead guitar player in a famous rock and roll band. Never stop dreaming is one of his mottos.
